Could be good, I wonder if theater goers will show for it though. It could end up as nothing more than a Lifetime movie. Bleh

I like movies. This is one I probably won't see.

Sorry, but Ben Foster as LA just does not do it for me. Nothing about his scenes in the trailer bring LA to mind.

The problem for us is we know the story already and all to well. We know intimately how LA looked as he raced, from the the grabbing his ass while he TTed or the "look" he gave Jan on LAdH. We know his pedaling style and his bravado during interviews. There is not an actor alive that could sell themselves as LA to true cycling fans who followed his career in it's prime.

If the actor can get close with the "Pffts" and under handed jabs that LA threw out during interviews then it could be sold the general public. I really think it is to soon, he still rides, is still known as a personality (hated by many).

25 years from now when he is dead to the world it could sell, now I just don't think so. There are no "feels" in the story so it won't draw in the ladies at all.

If its in the budget, I would have cast his friend and another brash Texan: Matthew McConaughey.
