[Spoiler!!] TDF Stage 5 finish...
Smokes, Sagen and Greipel both, their accelerations made The Manx Missile look like a domestique by comparison.
I am having trouble thinking of Sagen still being able to wear a White Jersey. He continually impresses...
Looked like Renshaw was leading out Greipel instead of Cav for a bit too... A bit too much maybe. ;)

cav is riding like...
...he's still the sprinter he was 3-4 years ago.
but he's not. he's lost a few steps and cant simply dominate a sprint with his legs.
he needs to ride smarter, legs + head, and maybe he'll win a stage.
but as of right now, greipel has his number.

AG is smashing the sprints this year.
So where is Kittel? He has been totally absent from what I can see. Is he even in the TDF?

Giant/Alpecin decided that Marcel was not up to acceptable form, given earlier illness and injuries, and left him off the Tour team.

How about Pinot's meltdown on stage four? First he gets a puncture on a cobbled section, and then his Di2 battery either dies or the connector comes loose and he can't change gear. A teammate was there to offer him a bike swap, but he spat the dummy and wouldn't take it. Result - loses another three plus minutes.
Contrast that with Tony Martin, who jumps on his teammate's bike and manages to win the stage.
