"Hansen replied, "and, um, you know we've had our family name smeared over every paper in the world in the last couple of years"

I can not in my wildest imagination figure out why that would be???

Why would he be punished? He wasn't breathalyzed.

Nobody was injured. Nobody knows whether he was drunk or not.

Was property damage. I just said it that way because I believe most states have minimum sentencing requirements if one is found guilty of leaving the scene if there is either personal injury or property damage.

Police report [claimed] here: http://media.thedenverchannel.com/document/2015/01/02/Lance_Armstrong_Report.pdf

Wow, what a man, leaving the missus to take the blame.
Or do you need two balls to be a real man?

She is gonna get a charge for lying to the cops, he is gonna get the charge for the Hit and Run and possibly the lying to the cops also. I read the police report, there is a ton of fibbing going on.

The money was not presented quickly enough to the victims. :)

If I was the victim in this case I would mad at myself for calling the cops so fast.... The windfall could have be great. The cars where rentals so that put a kink in the whole thing. The victims aren't gonna see a dime of windfall from this.

I suspect 30 days for them both.

He just can't stop screwing up

However, I bet neither one gets anything more than a fine.
