Linux USB Boot ?

If I make a USB Linux boot will I see my WIN 8.1 drive?

you should

the boot USB will be /dev/sda

the HD will appear as /dev/sdb

Got it... Not done any of that since AIX 4.0 I think t was...

Disk utility seems to indicate perhaps a head of circuit to one of the heads in the drive kaput. cylinder count error galore...
