I paid 17.00 I think it was for my Crane, shipped.

It is loud enough, but resonates for a much longer time than I thought it might.


That one surely looks and is more minimal in a few depts. It sure is higher pitched than the Crane I got.
And does not resonate nearly as long if the recording is a good gauge.

I got incredibells on a few other bikes, but I actually have not road tested the Crane.

I found a really nicely made (but rather expensive) bell from Spurcycle - one of these crowdfunded units. It has the best mounting system I've seen on a bell (the allen head bolt in the centre of the dome tightens the strap), is made from stainless steel and brass, has a nice tone, and the flip lever for ringing it is in exactly the right place for my thumb when I'm on the tops. http://www.spurcycle.com/
