Old Panasonic. I never rode anything with these kind of lax HTA&STA. Not ready to roll yet, any ideas?

I know DDDD has a few of this ilk. Leaset amount of BB drop I have seen for big wheel. Like 3CM came with some hipster wooden grips as well. Probably sell of the skip tooth setup. Powder coated black flat wrinkle paint. Cut leather saddle, hipster skipster.

Wheels and stems are mine, were already. Came with a super short quill same era. Pocket change pretty much...

I think I am up to n2+1 really.


The chain stays are so long they make the 700C wheels look like 650. ;)


She is a floppy feeling steed rolling... Kinda like that old Stella I have...

Pulled the 50s Made in England Skip tooth chainring for eBay sale. Parts-bin-i-fied it a little, and rolled it in the subdivision here.

The Geom does not feel nearly as wonky as it looks or I thought it would. I had that front bag on the Paramount, but it changed the handling in a bad way. It seems to change it in a good way on this sled. Sure rides smooth with 32C @ 65 lb. ;) It is actually pretty comfortable...

I have some barcons and gears for it, need a few bits. I did not notice someone dremel-ed off the rear DR cable stop. I saw all the others intact and missed that one. So a clamp on, or maybe rivet on one...

The cottered BB looked new and was made in the Ukraine, as first for me. Sealed bearing too. I just went IS for the Ultegra 600 cranks..

Sparky, I just spotted this pic on another forum that I frequent, and realized for the first time that you are a regular there (under a different name -- me, too). There are a few others, I think, who often post on both boards, some under aliases.

Yeah, I see a few of us over there, and suspect a few more. One of the commonality is civility, but of course bikes and subject matter repetition etc.

The disc Roubaix browsings got me back to that board which I had not really frequented until then.

You've got lots of pannier room back there! On the other hand, that is one longish-looking stem.

Did a 32 mile ride on it today. It rolls great really, it has OS tubes and is stiff. Even with the mile long chain stays, pretty stiff when you honk on it.
