L'Elite Sangiorgio Rollers

I picked up (another) set of rollers today off our local CL. The rollers have dark orange/red 4.5" drums and are labeled "L'Elite Sangiorgio" and Made in Italy. Does anyone know about these rollers?

The drums appear to be steel as they take a magnet. The rollers themselves are the same as pictured in the ad below. The drums have some deep scratches (probably from moving) so I'm not sure how to smooth them out without removing the red finish.

I am guessing this is the same Elite company that still makes trainers/rollers. But I've never seen these particular rollers and am curious about the history and quality level, as well as ride quality compared with my Minoura aluminum drum rollers.

Thanks.
