Great interview - Eileen Sheridan

The Bike Show (UK) has an inspiring interview with Eileen Sheridan that is well worth a listen. She was an English cyclist of the 1940s and 50s who was good at long distance riding - 100 miles in 4h16m, 237 miles in 12 hours, the end-to-end (Lands End to John O'Groats, 870 miles) in just under 2-1/2 days:

ps The first 30 seconds of the audio are Graham Obree being unintelligible, but the rest is very good.
